Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Unit Details: Patient ratios: Days 1:5 and Nights 1:6. Surgical patients including total joints, fractures, bariatric, urology, and general surgery; medical patients including CHF, CVA, SOB, and diabetic issues. RNs are not required to titrate drips. Nurse aides ratio 1:15. Uses CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow equipment. Telemetry is available; monitor tech reads strips and RN confirms.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Every other holiday. Call or standby required, with LCD.

Floating Requirements: First to float.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
