We are seeking a Medical Assistant/secretary to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Receptionist at private doctors office
- Answer phone calls / Communicate with patients by phone
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Computer data-entry /filing
- Some communication with insurance companies regarding proper billing procedures
- Help with some minor office procedures
Qualifications:
Responsible, on-time, pleasant/good-nature, helpful, basic computer proficiency
The approximate hours would be Tuesday 9-1:30, Thursday 1030-5, Friday (generally 1st and 3rd of each month) 8-4.
