X-Ray Technician Profession

Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a fast-paced acute care environment License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: - Ability to independently perform routine and complex X-ray exams - Experience assisting with fluoroscopy procedures - Strong patient care and communication skills Description: Candidate will float between units as required. On-call availability is not required. Weekends are not mandatory. The position involves imaging up to 30 patients per day. The candidate must have experience working in a Level II Trauma Center. Patient ratios are not measured in Diagnostic Radiology. The dress code for licensed personnel is solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire. Unlicensed personnel should wear solid hunter green uniforms or scrub attire. Print tops are not acceptable with specific exceptions stated in the dress code. Free parking is available in unrestricted spaces. All candidates must be prepared to work during three of the five major holidays. References covering one year within the last three years are required. Candidates may be expected to float between facilities as needed.
