JOB PURPOSE: Provides professional nail care treatments for the Spa and is involved in the spa and guest services operation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
JOB PURPOSE: Provides professional nail care treatments for the Spa and is involved in the spa and guest services operation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs expert nail care treatments. All treatments are to be performed to specific guidelines.
- Utilizes product efficiently, maintains product inventory and cleanliness. Completes commission reports accurately and timely.
- Provides knowledge to the guest for continued nail care utilizing products sold at the Spa.
- Provide appropriate nail care treatments based on the desire and health of the guest. Do not change the type of treatment without the consent of the guest.
- Provide professional nail care treatments in accordance with industry practices and a consistent manner with the spa. Provide all guests with consistent services for up to an 8-hour period. Treatment durations include 25 and 50 minutes.
- Properly educate guests in regards to a Spa treatment and recommend appropriate products for each service given and other spa services.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked environment in nail care treatment area according to Department of Health and Departmental Standards.
- Cleans and disinfects all equipment on a daily basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Highest level of competence in nail care services for both hands and feet and has a complete understanding of all spa services presently offered.
- Excellent human relations skills.
- Able to communicate with the general public in a courteous and professional manner.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Must be flexible and adapt easily.
- Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational.
- Strong team player.
- Must be comfortable with product recommendation.
- Demonstrated competence in specialty nail treatments
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Must follow safety precautions and requirements.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years nail care experience in a resort, private club or upscale salon.
- Valid Cosmetology license as required by the of New Mexico.
- Sitting 100%.
- Ability to grasp, lift, push, pull, and carry or otherwise move materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to move throughout building, bend, stoop, and reach on a continuous basis up to an 8-hour shift.
- Required to work weekends, holidays, and overtime.
