CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Downers Grove, IL: Staff Software Development Engineer to design and develop enterprise software applications and platforms. Duties include: analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; develop and deploy application components, and support unit testing and bug fixes; participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; and collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices. Independently lead development of solutions with high complexity and risk. Multiple positions.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related software development occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following: CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps; Java, Python, or Node.js; XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript; Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; ATG Commerce or Spring Boot microservices; Frameworks: Angular, JavaScript, React, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, or Backbone; Java or J2EE; REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs; Oracle, Redis, or Cassandra database; Docker or Kubernetes; JIRA, Rally, or Confluence. Software development lifecycle (SDLC); and Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting.

Pay Range: $153317.00/year to $260590.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
