MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Job Objective The Maintenance Manager is a leading performer that oversees Maintenance projects and processes to ensure the reliability of equipment, minimize downtime, and optimize operational efficiency. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to drive successful maintenance initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities of the Position Oversee Maintenance projects within the facility, including scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, resource requirements, and risk assessments. Allocate Maintenance staff, contractors, and equipment to effectively execute maintenance projects on time and within budget. Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to source parts, materials, and services necessary for Maintenance projects, negotiate contracts, and ensure work is completed to specifications. Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals. Leverage creativity and comprehensive process, technical, or operational understanding to resolve a wide range of issues. Participate in and may manage large, cross‑functional projects or initiatives with strategic importance. Proactively investigate and/or lead investigations of alternative approaches, technologies, or partnerships. Perform other duties as needed. Required Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. 6‑8 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time. Bending, crouching, and stooping may be required. Must be able to work in non‑climate‑controlled facilities. The work environment may be a noisy, high traffic manufacturing production floor. May be required to work a flexible schedule to include evening and night shifts, weekends, and holidays. The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day. The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
