Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a high-capacity hospital operating room float position requiring CST certification and flexible shift availability.

Details

• OR Float unit within a high-capacity operating room setting
• 4x10 Day/Evening rotation schedule, with evening shifts as the likely primary assignment based on skill needs
• Day shifts run 7a-5:30p Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and 9a-7:30p on Wednesday; evening shifts run 1p-11p
• Includes 2 weeks of night shifts per contract
• At least 2 short call shifts required each 4-week schedule
• Weekend shifts scheduled as 12-hour shifts, with 8 or 10-hour shifts scheduled during the same week to meet contracted hours
• Uses Epic for charting
• Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping

Requirements

• CST certification through NBSTSA or NCCT required
• Experience in a high-capacity operating room required
• License required if applicable
• Active MA licensure required at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted
• Flu vaccine required during flu season, with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• AHA-certified BLS required

Additional Information

• Float between operating room assignments based on facility and skill needs
• Local candidates permitted, but must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for standard travel rate
• Candidates residing within 60 miles are considered local and receive a reduced rate
• RTO must be disclosed at the time of consideration
