We offer competitive pay, great benefits, and leadership development opportunities with career-growth potential – join our team today!The Talent Acquisition Specialist makes an impact by:Being the primary source of knowledge related to Operations staffing; successfully fulfill and maintain staffing needs for the Operations team and supporting other departments, as needed.Establishing staffing requirements by regularly meeting with hiring managers to discuss, track, and report on current openings and project upcoming needs; conduct needs analysis, studying organization plans and objectives.Pre-qualifying candidates by reviewing resumes and applications, conduct phone-screens, coordinate on-site interviews, conduct on-site tours; accurately record actions in recruiting database throughout the entire recruiting lifecycle from phone-screen to hire.Assisting with onboarding process for temporary assignments and direct hires. Performing all steps of the onboarding process, such as, drug testing, submitting background checks, scheduling post offer screenings and employee set up in HRIS systems.Supporting orientation by overseeing timeclock biometric scanning for new hires, I-9 support, etc.Assisting with the purchase order process for the HR Department.Managing and maintaining relationships with outside temporary staffing agencies to request temporary staffing support as needed, effectively communicate company's needs and expectations.Sourcing talent through other avenues including community services, colleges, social media, job fairs, online job boards; create content, manage, and report usage for social media platforms.Working closely with Operational and HR team members to achieve overall recruiting strategy.Understanding current legislation and improve organizational attractiveness by recommending new policies, procedures and practices.Presenting job offers and compensation practices including wage surveys; emphasizing benefits and perks.Demonstrating the ability to engage work in department and cross-functional teams to define and implement process improvements that provide value to the customer.Being accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles.Performing all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), FSMA, and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) guidelines as well as all safety regulations.Being responsible for Turkey Hill's Safe Quality Foods (SQF) food safety and quality standards.Performing all other duties as assigned.You could be a great fit if you have these things:Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experienceMinimum of one (1) year of experience in HR, preferable in recruiting/staffingUnderstanding of state and federal employment laws and legal hiring practicesExcellent communication skills (oral and written)Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to organize and prioritize complex projectsPrevious experience with HRIS systems, preferably UKG is strongly desiredExperience with Microsoft 365 Office, especially Excel, is requiredPhysical Demands:The employee is required to talk and/or hear in an office setting (noise level is low) and manufacturing setting where noise levels can be high (PPE required).The employee is frequently required to stand and walk in an office or manufacturing environment from 4-8+ hours.The employee must be able to ascend and descend stairs, and where applicable and when necessary, to perform various job-related tasks.Must be able to position self to move, reach with arms/hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed to perform various job-related tasks.The employee must be able to inspect all job-related equipment (office or floor) to ensure it is in good working condition prior to use.
