Accountant / Junior Controller (Financial Reporting & Close Support) Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire About the Role We are seeking a highly detail‑oriented Accountant / Junior Controller to support daily accounting operations and assist with monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial reporting. This role is hands‑on and ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment and enjoys working “in the weeds” of accounting. You will work closely with the CFO to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely financial close processes. What You’ll Do Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, budgets, and forecasts Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, AP/AR, and revenue‑related accounting in accordance with GAAP Analyze variances and provide insights to support operational and financial decision‑making Assist with audit preparation and documentation for external auditors Support tax and compliance filings, including sales tax, in coordination with the CFO Help maintain internal controls and improve accounting processes Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure financial accuracy and operational alignment What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting strongly preferred Approximately 5 years of accounting experience (public or industry) Strong experience supporting financial close and reporting processes Expert‑level Excel and QuickBooks skills are required Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Extremely detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Summit Tech Partners
