Summary of Position: Works with General Manager and Assistant Manager to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation. Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations Qualifications: Must have a minimum of one year of restaurant supervisory experience Assist restaurant management team Maintain and enforce sanitation standards and procedures Experience with Micros POS system is preferred but not required Must have valid driver's license and be Food Handler certified & TABC certified Professional oral and written communication skills Availability to work all shifts (open, mid, close) Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Basic understanding of food and labor costs, cash handling procedures and company policies Personable, friendly and outgoing personality - must enjoy interacting with and servicing others Initiative, drive and a self-starting work ethic Superior customer service and people skills Ability to train, coach, and direct others Outstanding attention to detail
