Title : Onsite Packaging Engineer


Location : Warsaw , IN

• Responsible for the design, development, and processing of implant and instrument packaging under the direction of a project leader or manager.
• Will work in a matrix/cross functional product development environment.
• Will coordinate internal and external/contractor resources to develop solutions required to solve complex engineering problems.
• Have strong communication, teamwork and organizational skills are essential.

• Designing for manufacturability, inspectibility, and optimum cost
• Generating prototype models to evaluate new design concepts
• Coordinating product evaluation with surgeons
• Generating comprehensive protocols for testing/analyzing the product
• Generating design assurance documentation for the project

• Familiarity with drafting standards and geometric differences and tolerances
• Active participation in development meetings with surgeons and key client personnel
• Ability to effectively work within a team to expedite completion of critical project tasks with other functional groups
• Helping to identify customer requirements for a new product
• Establishing a process method which meets performance and quality requirements
• B.S. in Packaging Engineering or Engineering discipline required
• 1-3+ years of experience desired.
