Roles & Responsibilities

• Apply sharp clinical judgment to diagnose and treat patient responses in the high-stakes Cardiovascular Unit
• Care for over 4000 cardiology patients yearly, supporting life-changing procedures like PTCA, stents, TAVR, and MitraClip
• Manage post-op open heart surgery patients with precision and compassion
• Specialize in congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies, contributing to groundbreaking clinical trials
• Collaborate with a top-performing team in a Silver Beacon Award-winning unit to deliver exceptional outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license with verification via LARA and Nursys
• 1+ year of ICU experience (no floating counts toward this)
• EKG experience to hit the ground running
• Skills checklist completed within the last year
• Willingness to float to similar units as needed

Education

• RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Neuro, CVICU, and Trauma care
• Experienced with managing vents, CRRT, and balloon pumps
• Strong skills checklist demonstrating ICU competency
