A Day in the Life of a Shift Supervisor:

• As a Shift Supervisor, you are the heartbeat of our daily operations.
• You ensure that each shift runs smoothly, maintaining high standards of food quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Overseeing the proper working order of equipment and arranging for repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Managing cash-handling procedures and completing end-of-day reconciliation paperwork.
• Scheduling events, negotiating details, and forecasting work schedules with restaurant needs and labor cost objectives in mind.
• Maintaining cleanliness and efficiency, ensuring the team follows procedures for restaurant appearance, sanitation, and preventative maintenance.
• Collaborating with team members on menu planning and establishing efficient workflows.
• Implementing procedures for ingredient usage, food portions, production sequencing, and workstation arrangements to ensure quality and consistency.
• Promoting a positive and productive work environment, mentoring staff, and providing opportunities for growth and development.
• Addressing workplace issues proactively, including product waste and employee theft, and performing disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Engaging with customers to ensure excellent service is provided by the food service staff and stepping in to assist whenever needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in food service management or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to foster a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
• Must be available to work nights and weekends.
