Senior Software Engineer (Partial Telework) An active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is REQUIRED. Please do not apply if you currently do not possess this level of clearance. GliaCell is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission‑related software and systems for a large government contract. The Work: Modernize a legacy operational system using a micro‑services architecture and cutting‑edge technologies. Responsibilities: Write Java Spring Boot based micro‑service applications utilizing AWS native technologies. Build REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects. Implement CI/CD principles utilizing Maven, GitLab and GitOps. Participate in agile development and delivery of software. Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Key Requirements: Active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. Active Top Secret clearance with polygraph (CI within the last 7 years). Professional/educational experience: 9 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 7 years with a master’s degree. Works well independently as well as on a team. Strong AWS experience. Proficiency with Java and Spring Boot. Desired Skills (at least two of the following): Python NoSQL / MongoDB query and schema design Test frameworks and automation including Playwright and Cucumber Location: Annapolis Junction, MD / Partial Telework (2 days per week expected) Salary Range: $170,000 to $230,000. Salary determined by position, level, skills, experience, education, and certification. Sign‑on bonus eligible.
