Description

• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions dedicated to enhancing speech, language, fluency, and swallowing capabilities.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to optimize patient care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families on how to support progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Contribute to inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a comprehensive continuum of care.
• Maintain all necessary documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a university that is accredited.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet achieved.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needs to be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
