Shifts Available: 1st or 2nd

Pay: $18.50 -$21.53

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Erie, PA. In this role, you will prepare, assemble, and inspect electronic components and products that support customers across the military, aerospace, communications, and medical industries.

As part of a collaborative production environment, you will work alongside assemblers, technicians, and engineers to ensure products are assembled according to specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong manual dexterity, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble a variety of electronic products and components using production instructions, parts lists, engineering drawings, and verbal instructions.
• Position and install components manually or with hand tools to complete assembly operations.
• Perform soldering and de-soldering activities to support final product assembly and rework requirements.
• Operate production and assembly equipment as required.
• Inspect assemblies and components to ensure compliance with quality standards and product specifications.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to verify products are free from defects and assembled correctly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality objectives.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and manufacturing guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions, assembly drawings, and procedures.
• Basic math skills and the ability to use measuring devices required for assembly tasks.
• Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and other software systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• IPC J-STD-001 Certification: Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies.
• Previous experience in electronics assembly, manufacturing, or production environments.
• Experience with soldering, de-soldering, and electronic component handling.
• Familiarity with quality inspection processes and manufacturing documentation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during a shift.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for precision assembly work.
• Ability to lift and move materials or products in accordance with company guidelines.
• Visual acuity sufficient to identify small electronic components and perform detailed inspection work.
