Document Management Support Engineer

Salary: $52,000 - 62,000 per year Requirements:

• Proven experience in a technical support or help desk setting supporting Windows, including Windows Server, macOS, and Linux operating systems
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN architecture, and diagnosing connectivity issues
• Practical experience with hardware support, including computer repairs and equipment troubleshooting
• Familiarity with IT support tools, including ticketing platforms and remote assistance software
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical users
• Demonstrated analytical ability for resolving complex software and network problems
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional are helpful but not required
• Programming knowledge in Python, C#, JavaScript, or SQL is a plus and can be learned on the job

• Respond to inbound support requests through our ticketing system, phone, email, and remote sessions, then triage, diagnose, and resolve issues within contracted SLAs
• Troubleshoot across the full technology stack, including application configuration, workflows, forms, capture and scanning, database lookups, integrations, servers, permissions, and end-user errors
• Keep client communication clear and timely by providing status updates, estimated timelines, and plain-language explanations of issues and resolutions
• Record every issue, fix, and configuration change accurately in our ticketing and knowledge base systems
• Escalate cases to senior engineers and Laserfiche or DocuWare vendor support when needed, and manage them through closure
