Hours & Compensation

* School Year Schedule: Monday through Friday during regular school hours
* Summer School Schedule: Monday through Thursday, part-time school hours
* Competitive pay: $21–$25+ per hour based on experience and education

Position Overview

As a Teacher’s Aide or Educational Instructional Aide, you will work closely with classroom teachers to help create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment for students. Candidates who enjoy working with children, supporting student growth, and being part of a collaborative school team are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

* Support classroom teachers with daily lessons, activities, and instructional support
* Help create and maintain a structured, organized, and student-centered classroom environment
* Assist students academically, socially, and behaviorally throughout the school day
* Provide one-on-one or small group support as needed, including working with students with special needs or behavioral/emotional challenges
* Encourage student participation, confidence, and independence
* Communicate student progress and concerns with teachers and staff as appropriate

Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* ParaPro Certification and/or Associate’s Degree preferred
* Prior experience working with children or students in a school/classroom setting preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, students, and families
* Experience supporting students with special needs, behavioral support, or emotional development is highly valued
