ASCP Radiology Assistant - Weekend Shift

Job Summary: Deliver exceptional healthcare services with professionalism, competence, and compassion by supporting radiologic technologists in producing high-quality diagnostic images for licensed practitioners. Essential Responsibilities: Assist radiologic technologists in performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensuring patient clinical history aligns with the procedure and is properly documented for practitioner use. Prepare patients for procedures by providing clear instructions to achieve optimal results, encourage cooperation, and reduce anxiety. Apply aseptic techniques when necessary and initiate basic life support actions if required. Maintain responsibility for assigned areas, including reporting equipment issues, ensuring cleanliness, and restocking supplies. Engage in departmental quality assessment and improvement initiatives. Adhere to established minimum standards and use sound judgment and specialized medical skills to care for patients considering their age and diagnosis.
