We're looking for a Front Desk Agent for Uma House By Yurbban South Beach! Someone with strong communication skills, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to resolve issues efficiently while delivering an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities

• Manage daily Front Office operations, including check-in, check-out, guest assistance, escorting, and cashier operations according to Yurbban Hospitality Group standards.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries via phone, email, and OTA platforms, ensuring calls are answered within three rings.
• Manage guest requests and preferences, accurately documenting special arrangements and ensuring timely follow-up.
• Handle guest complaints and operational issues, tracking resolutions, identifying recurring concerns, and reporting relevant trends.
• Maintain Front Office areas, workspaces, and storerooms clean, organized, and presentable.
• Deliver prompt, friendly, and attentive guest service, communicating clearly and providing accurate information.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other departments, remaining calm and using sound judgment during emergencies or challenging situations.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, Front Desk procedures, health and safety regulations, maintenance protocols, and emergency procedures.
• Support the training and development of new employees according to Yurbban Hospitality Group standards.
• Participate in mandatory team meetings, company initiatives, and community events supporting the group's corporate social responsibility goals.
• Handle confidential guest information securely, follow proper document disposal procedures, and perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a Front Desk or guest-facing role.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Good Spanish proficiency is required, and additional languages are a plus.
• Familiarity with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and computer applications. Experience with Opera, GoConcierge, Nuvolo, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred.
• Ability to use computers and point-of-sale systems to manage guest information and daily operations.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, a friendly and service-oriented attitude, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with other departments.
• Ability to remain calm, observant, and solution-oriented when handling guest concerns, emergencies, or stressful situations.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, according to the property's operational needs.
• Ability to stand or walk during eight-hour shifts and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and push or pull up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to follow health and safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.

Work Location: 100% on-site, in-house position at Uma House By Yurbban South Beach, Miami Beach, FL. Employment Type: Full-time, long-term position. FLSA Classification: Hourly, non-exempt position, with benefits according to the company handbook. What We Offer
