The Pizza Cook prepares pizzas that reflect Osteria Centrale’s Italian menu and standards for flavor, consistency and presentation. From preparing ingredients to cooking and finishing each pie, you bring care to every stage of production. This role combines practical cooking skills, organized preparation and close teamwork to deliver well-made food promptly in a busy kitchen.

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes, following the restaurant’s quality standards consistently throughout service.
• Slice vegetables, grate cheese and portion ingredients accurately, using careful preparation techniques to support consistent results from one order to the next.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen area, following food safety and hygiene requirements during preparation, cooking and service.
• Operate ovens, mixers, knives and other kitchen tools safely and efficiently, using the equipment appropriately for each preparation task.
• Finish and send pizzas promptly, checking their presentation and visual appeal against the restaurant’s standards before they leave the kitchen.
• Contribute ideas for pizza flavors and toppings, drawing on seasonal ingredients and guest preferences to support menu planning.
• Follow food-handling procedures and health requirements, maintaining attention to guest safety while working at the pace of service.
• Communicate clearly with teammates, adapt to feedback and changing service demands, and manage preparation and cooking tasks efficiently.

• Prior experience in food service, a restaurant or a kitchen is highly preferred.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques, with familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure and stay attentive to detail.
• Good time management and adaptability in a fast-paced kitchen, including careful attention to food quality and presentation.
• A genuine interest in cooking, knowledge of the food industry and commitment to a positive guest experience.
• Experience with menu planning or culinary innovation is a plus.
