Onsite Web Developer (Angular/Java)

We are hiring a Web Developer to start immediately. This is a open ended contract position and could potentially be contract to hire This is a W2 only position, no sponsorship, no C2C, no 1099 We are looking for a Senior level developer with 7+ years of experience working within the enterprise environment Fin-tech experience would be huge BS degree is required, but if you have more years of experience with no degree, we will consider Hourly Rate isaround $66/hour ideally, but can be flexible for the right candidate Looking for someone with strong experience with modern front end and backend technologies: Angular, React, Node.JS, Java, Spring Boot, Oracle and PostgreSQL Experienced in building shared UI libraries, backend services, and integrating REST APIs and databases Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain front-end features and backend services for electronic credit trading platforms, ensuring real-time performance and seamless integration. Develop data-driven UIs and RESTful APIs using Angular, React, Node.js, Java, and Spring Boot. Create and maintain reusable components, shared libraries, and backend modules to promote consistency and scalability. Enforce best practices for performance, accessibility, security, and maintainability across the stack. Provide production support, including incident triage, troubleshooting, and resolution for business-critical systems. Collaborate in an agile environment to translate requirements into technical solutions and support QA processes. Conduct code reviews, contribute to documentation, and drive continuous improvement. Monitor and optimize application performance and implement security enhancements. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate. Requirements Strong experience with modern front-end and backend technologies: Angular, React, Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, Oracle, and PostgreSQL. Proven expertise in microservices architecture, cloud-native development, and DevOps practices. Experience building shared UI libraries, backend services, and integrating REST APIs and databases. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work in agile, distributed teams. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; 7+ years of software development experience (Java-focused). Financial services experience preferred, particularly in fixed income, electronic trading, or credit products. Nice-to-Have Experience with electronic trading or front-office platforms. Knowledge of fixed-income trade lifecycle and FIX Protocol. Backend experience with Node.js, Python, .NET, SQL, and scalable API design. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
