Teller Position – Join Our Team! Are you a people person who enjoys helping others and working in a team? Farmers State Bank is looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Teller to provide exceptional customer service and support our daily branch operations. If you love interacting with people, handling transactions, and making a difference in your community, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! What You’ll Do Greet customers with a smile and assist with deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. Handle cash and transactions accurately while following bank procedures. Assist customers with their banking needs and refer them to the right team members for additional services. Process night deposits, issue cashier’s checks, and assist with safe deposit access. Promote bank products and services by recognizing customer needs and making referrals. Respond to customer inquiries in person, over the phone, and through digital banking channels. Assist with daily branch operations, including opening and closing procedures. Work collaboratively with team members to create a welcoming and efficient banking experience. Participate in training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge of banking operations. What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent (previous cash-handling or customer service experience is a plus). Someone who enjoys working with people and solving problems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills (experience with Microsoft Office is helpful). Who Should Not Apply? You prefer working alone rather than in a team. You struggle with handling multiple tasks or adapting to change. You don’t enjoy providing great customer service.
