Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including conducting physical examinations and reviewing medical histories in detail
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions through analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide vital intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, ensuring appropriate patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is strongly preferred

Certifications Needed

• Current and unrestrained PA-C certification
• Required certifications in BLS and ACLS
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
