Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) Anesthesiology

As a Locum CRNA, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia, monitoring patients, and collaborating with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure safe and effective patient care. Responsibilities Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as necessary Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia care plans Provide pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia care Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately Educate patients and their families regarding anesthesia and safety Participate in ongoing professional development and training Requirements Active CRNA license Associate degree in Nurse Anesthesia or related field Experience in administering anesthesia in surgical settings Strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment and drug administration Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments Commitment to patient safety and quality care Schedule: 7a-3:30p, 40-hour workweeks No call requirement Shifts available at hospital and surgery center Patient Population: Ages 2+ Case Types: General surgery, ortho, GI, endo, neurosurgery, spine, vascular, ophthalmology, ENT Medical supervision EMR: Meditech Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr 77 consultants
