TITLE
Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular

SCHEDULE
12H Rotating (Day/Evening)

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

REQUIREMENTS
- BLS certification required
- CNOR certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of recent OR RN experience with high competency in cardiovascular/open heart
- Large academic teaching hospital experience required
- Epic experience within the past 2 years required
- Prior travel experience required
- Must have general experience in various OR suites (general, ortho, neuro, ENT, etc.)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high quality nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room.
- Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient conditions pre, intra, and post-operatively.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
- Participate in staff education and professional development activities.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Must be flexible with schedule to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.
- Requires reliable transportation as public transportation is not accessible in this area.
- Must explain all employment gaps over 90 days.
- Bi-weekly orientations are held on Monday.
