You'll work alongside a team of seasoned security professionals conducting threat assessments, monitoring security events, and responding to incidents across enterprise environments.In this role, you'll be at the frontline of defense, analyzing vulnerability scan results, investigating security alerts from our SIEM platforms, and helping clients implement compliance frameworks including SOC 2, HIPAA, and PCI DSS. You'll collaborate with our OneProtect managed security team to deliver 24/7 protection for Fortune 500 clients.This position offers exposure to cutting-edge security tools, real-world incident response, and the opportunity to earn industry certifications while working with some of the most challenging security environments in healthcare, financial services, and government sectors.## About the TeamThe Cybersecurity team at Flynaut is a 120-person strong division operating from our Chicago HQ, Hyderabad SOC, and Dubai regional office. We protect over 200 enterprise clients across healthcare, finance, manufacturing, and government sectors. Our team runs a 24/7 Security Operations Center and manages the award-winning OneProtect platform.We value continuous learning and invest heavily in our team's growth. Every analyst gets a dedicated certification path, mentorship from senior architects, and exposure to real-world advanced persistent threats. The team culture is collaborative, we run weekly threat briefings, monthly CTF competitions, and quarterly red team exercises.## Key Responsibilities* Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel) across client environments* Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing using tools like Nessus, Burp Suite, and Metasploit* Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document findings in detailed reports* Assist clients in achieving and maintaining compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and NIST frameworks* Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident response playbooks* Collaborate with the OneProtect team to deliver managed detection and response (MDR) services* Perform threat intelligence analysis and proactive threat hunting across client networks* Participate in tabletop exercises and red team/blue team simulations## Requirements* 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related field* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience* Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or QRadar)* Knowledge of NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK framework, and common vulnerability scoring (CVSS)* Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, or Rapid7)* Understanding of network protocols, firewall rules, and intrusion detection systems* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facing reports## Nice to Have* CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC certifications* Experience with cloud security (AWS Security Hub, Azure Defender)* Familiarity with SOAR platforms and automation scripting (Python)* Prior experience in a managed security services provider (MSSP) environment* Knowledge of OT/ICS security for manufacturing clients## Benefits & PerksComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with 6% company match$5,000 annual certification and training budgetFlexible hybrid work schedule (3 days office, 2 remote)Paid security conference attendance (Black Hat, DEF CON, RSA)20 days PTO + 12 paid holidaysGym membership reimbursementEmployee stock option programMental health and wellness stipendParental leave (16 weeks paid)## Growth & DevelopmentAt Flynaut, cybersecurity analysts have a clear career trajectory: Analyst → Senior Analyst → Security Engineer → Security Architect → Principal/Director. Many of our analysts have earned CISSP, OSCP, and cloud security certifications within their first two years.
