Apply today.WHAT YOU WILL DOThe Commercial Credit Operations Manager supports commercial credit operations through the administration and analysis of wholesale funding, loan booking and account maintenance, syndication portfolio activity, floorplan audits, and related control processes. Reporting to the Director, Commercial Credit Operations, this individual-contributor role serves as a subject-matter resource and escalation point, resolves complex operational issues, monitors service levels and controls, and recommends process improvements across the commercial portfolio. At times, this role may act on behalf of management to provide oversight of daily commercial credit operations.HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACTWholesale Funding OperationsReview and process complex OEM, auction, and dealer-direct flooring requests in accordance with program requirements, approved credit terms, and established risk controls.Validate daily flooring, funding, transfer, and payment activity; analyze balancing exceptions and coordinate corrective action with Accounting and other business partners within established service levels.Serve as an escalation point for complex funding issues and operational discrepancies involving dealers, auction partners, and internal stakeholders; research root causes, evaluate available resolution options, and escalate material issues as appropriate.Provide technical guidance to Commercial Credit funding team members regarding nonstandard transactions, system processing issues, and application of established procedures.Loan Administration, Account Maintenance & Floorplan ControlsReview dealer, banking, and auction setup in the commercial credit floorplan system and approve completed setups, as assigned; validate required documentation and resolve setup exceptions in accordance with established requirements.Review the booking of non-floorplan loans, including real estate, construction, and capital loans, and approve completed bookings, as assigned; interpret executed loan documentation, validate system setup and amortization schedules, and resolve discrepancies with Credit and Real Estate.Validate dealer rate and credit-line maintenance against approved credit terms; identify discrepancies, coordinate corrections, and document completion of the review.Monitor floorplan dealer insurance status, coverage levels, legal-file completeness, and records-retention requirements; identify deficiencies and coordinate or escalate remediation.Coordinate assigned floorplan audit schedules and activities based on established audit frequencies, portfolio risk recommendations, and operational priorities.Analyze audit discrepancies, payment concerns, and inventory exceptions; collaborate with internal and external partners to recommend and coordinate resolution.Syndication Portfolio Administration & ReconciliationAdminister daily rate maintenance for HCA’s syndication portfolio and validate system updates against approved terms.Analyze balance, credit-line, advance, and payment discrepancies; determine root causes and coordinate resolution with lead syndication banks and internal business partners.Partner with Treasury and Accounting to reconcile wire activity, investigate transaction exceptions, and support accurate processing of daily funding and payment activity.Perform monthly principal and interest reconciliations; analyze variances, coordinate corrective action, and escalate unresolved or material items within established timelines.Controls, Compliance & Process ImprovementPerform assigned KSOX control activities and support Internal Audit engagements by evaluating documentation, responding to inquiries, identifying exceptions, and tracking remediation activities.Monitor compliance with operational policies, procedures, control standards, and records-retention requirements; identify control gaps and escalate material concerns.Develop and maintain procedures, job aids, and process documentation in coordination with management and operational stakeholders.Analyze recurring operational exceptions, process inefficiencies, and control gaps; recommend improvements and support implementation of approved process or system enhancements.Generate quarterly OFAC searches utilizing Commercial Systems to pull required search data including legal entities, DBA’s and personal guarantors.QualificationsWHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLEMinimum 5–7 years of related experience in commercial lending, wholesale automotive finance, or loan operations, including experience with commercial loan booking, funding, account maintenance, reconciliations, syndication administration, or floorplan audit processes.Experience serving as an operational resource, work lead, or escalation point preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.Knowledge of commercial credit products and structures, including floorplan, real estate, construction, capital, and revolving line of credit products.Working knowledge of commercial credit systems and related loan, payment, reconciliation, and portfolio administration processes.Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research discrepancies, evaluate risk, and recommend practical resolutions.Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple time-sensitive priorities.Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain operational issues and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn and use commercial credit and workflow systems.WE TAKE CARE OF OUR PEOPLEAt HCA, our people drive our success.
