Accounts Payable Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead daily accounts payable operations and oversee a high-performing team. This role will partner with accounting and finance leadership to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing, vendor payments, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily workflow of the accounts payable team
• Coach, train, and develop team members
• Oversee invoice processing and vendor payments, including complex transactions
• Resolve escalated issues with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Support process improvements and standardization across systems
• Track and report on KPIs, metrics, and backlog activity
• Assist with audits, system enhancements, and special projects
• Ensure compliance with tax reporting requirements and company policies
• Maintain procedural documentation and support team training

Qualifications

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in accounts payable
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, invoice-to-payment workflows, and vendor management
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills
• Experience with ERP systems and process improvement initiatives preferred
