Mary Rutan Hospital is urgently seeking an experienced locum OB/GYN physician to provide high-quality care in Bellefontaine, Ohio. What you'll do:

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN services in a well-equipped clinic and hospital environment
• Cover scheduled shifts, including on-call duties from 7 am on June 25th to 7 am on June 26th, with potential for additional sporadic coverage
• Manage approximately one delivery per day, including routine and complicated cases
• Perform a range of obstetrics procedures, ultrasounds, and high-risk pregnancy care within a 45-bed hospital with an active emergency department
• Collaborate with a team of four physicians and support staff to ensure seamless patient care

Required skills:

• Board certified or truly board eligible in OB/GYN
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency in FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds (Level I & II), labor and delivery procedures
• Ability to handle routine and complex obstetric cases, including deliveries and emergency interventions
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and patient management skills

Nice to have skills:

• Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Familiarity with high-risk pregnancy management and advanced OB procedures
• Comfort working in a fast-paced hospital setting with diverse patient needs

Preferred education and experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Prior locum or hospital-based OB/GYN experience preferred
• Active Ohio medical license or eligibility

Other requirements:

• Must reside within a 30-minute radius during on-call periods
• Able to travel reimbursed expenses including flight, hotel, rental car, or mileage
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts and participate in call rotations
