LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Part Time | Evening (6pm - 10pm) | Every Saturday and Sunday

PRN

Pay: $24/hr to $25.80/hr (Based on experience) | PLUS shift differentials: +$1.75/hr evenings, +$1.50/hr nights, +$1/hr weekends)

What You'll Do as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Maintains the standards of nursing care and implements the policies and procedures of the facilities nursing department including skin grids and treatments, preventative skin plans, preventative fall plans, incident reports and admission paperwork.
• Attends team care conferences as needed.
• Provides oral instructions to nursing assistants.
• Assesses residents and records all pertinent information in resident's records.
• Document administration of medications according to facility policies and procedures.
• Functions as team leader and supervisor.
• Supplies and interprets information, supports decisions, and facilitates communications with residents and their families, and nursing assistants and support staff.
• Assures that resident's call lights are answered.

Requirements for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• A current/valid LPN license in Ohio required.
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Onsite presence required.
