There is potential for expanded operating days in the near future. Additionally, we are affiliated with a pediatric partner office, offering opportunities for those seeking a full-time position. This is a role for an Orthodontic Assistant located in Cambridge, MA. The Orthodontic Assistant will be responsible for assisting the orthodontist with procedures, caring for patients, and offering chair-side assistance during treatments. The Orthodontic Assistant will also help in sterilizing instruments, taking dental scans, and managing patient records. Pay $25~$30 per hour Salary Details Salary based on Experience. Employment Type Full-time Requirements Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant Skills in Dental Care, Dentistry, and Orthodontics Experience in Sterilization and Dental Assisting Excellent patient care and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Job Description Key Responsibilities: Assist the orthodontist during procedures such as bracket placement, wire changes, and impressions. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral photos. Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene with braces and other orthodontic appliances. Schedule appointments, follow up with patients, and maintain accurate records. Monitor inventory and prepare materials needed for treatments. Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment. Maintain patient comfort and communicate clearly throughout procedures.
