Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on overhead cranes and hoisting equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
• Repair or replace components including motors, control systems, wiring, and sensors
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards
• Identify and mitigate potential hazards in the workplace
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare service reports
• Communicate findings and recommendations to supervisors or customers
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and other team members

Position Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Electrician, or related field
• Red Seal Industrial Electrician certification (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in crane maintenance or industrial equipment repair
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems including PLCs, VFDs, and motor controls
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• High attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work at heights and lift heavy equipment
• Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
