Behavioral Health Clinician (Bachelors)

Overview Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness. Position Behavioral Health Clinician The Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team in CBI Crisis, Inpatient and Transition Point programs. The BHC coordinates with the Patient Care Technicians (PCT), Registered Nurses (RN), and Behavioral Health Medical Providers (BHMP) to ensure a safe environment and that quality care is provided to all presenting for services. The BHC completes the behavioral health assessment and service plan for all individuals admitted to their assigned program. The BHC documents provided services and coordinates discharges from CBI programs. The BHC coordinates care with the family or other significant others. Responsibilities Conduct behavioral health assessments and develop service plans for individuals admitted to assigned programs. Document provided services and coordinate discharges from CBI programs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (PCTs, RNs, BHMPs) to ensure a safe environment and quality care. Coordinate care with families or other significant others as appropriate. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to Behavioral Health. Master’s Degree preferred but not required. Preference given to candidates with a Master’s in a behavioral health field and/or licensure at the associate level with The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as Psychologist, Social Worker, Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Substance Abuse Counselor. 1–3 years of full-time health care-related work experience with exposure to behavioral and medical crisis situations preferred but not required.
