Nurse Manager Operating RoomA large, integrated healthcare system is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to oversee Operating Room nursing operations at an acute-care hospital. The ideal candidate is a decisive clinical leader with a strong OR background who can develop high-performing teams, maintain surgical excellence, and ensure a safe, efficient perioperative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 24/7 operational and clinical leadership for the hospital Operating Room departmentManage staffing, scheduling, and on-call coverage to support surgical service linesLead and develop OR nursing staff through hiring, performance management, and professional growth programsOversee perioperative quality metrics, patient safety initiatives, and regulatory compliancePartner with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical services leadership to optimize OR throughput and outcomesManage departmental budget including labor, supply chain, and capital equipmentChampion a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and staff engagementRequirementsActive RN license in Oregon (or compact licensure eligible)BSN required; MSN preferred3+ years of perioperative or OR nursing clinical experience2+ years of nursing leadership or charge RN experience in an OR settingCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationsPreferred QualificationsCNOR certificationMSN or graduate degree in nursing or healthcare administrationExperience managing multi-specialty OR environmentsFamiliarity with Epic perioperative documentationScreening QuestionsDo you hold an active RN license in Oregon, or are you eligible for licensure?How many years of OR nursing experience and nursing leadership experience do you have?Are you able to work onsite full-time in the Hillsboro, OR area?
