Location: Rutherford, NJ
Shift:
1st: 6am-4:30pm (Monday-Thursday)
2nd: 4:30pm-3:00am (Monday night-Friday Morning)
Pay: $22.28/hour ; Overtime: $33.42/hour
Job Description
Join our team as a Mechanical Assembly Technician and contribute to the production of high-quality commercial vacuums. You will work at your own bench or on an assembly line, focusing on tasks such as stripping wires and assembling basic mechanical components.
Responsibilities

• Perform wire stripping and mechanical assembly tasks for commercial vacuums.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively during assembly processes.
• Follow production and blueprint guidelines to ensure accurate assembly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workbench and assembly line.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a manufacturing environment (6 months+).
• Proficient in using hand and power tools such as wrenches and drills.
• Ability to read and interpret production blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with a strong desire to work with hands.
• Capable of heavy lifting and standing at a bench station for the full shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rutherford, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.28 - $22.28/hr.
