About the Role
The Company is seeking a Deputy Chief Information Officer (Deputy CIO) to serve as a key leader in the advancement of technology and AI innovation. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Chief Information Officer in leading strategic university-wide initiatives, overseeing all enterprise resource planning systems and core platforms, and ensuring that the company's technology investments are aligned with its mission. This role involves establishing and enforcing IT policies, standards, and governance, as well as providing executive leadership for the management and enhancement of major ERP systems. The Deputy CIO will also play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement in customer service and service delivery, and will be expected to mentor and provide leadership to IT staff. Applicants for the Deputy CIO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, with a preference for a graduate degree. A minimum of 12 years' experience in IT, including at least 3 years in a leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing teams and budgets, leading strategic projects, and working with enterprise systems. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. Experience in higher education or public sector/hybrid cloud environments is a plus, and a strong ability to build and maintain effective working relationships is highly valued.
