Tax and Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Tax and Accounting Manager to lead our tax planning, compliance, review and financial reporting functions in our Cincinnati office. This role is critical in ensuring our clients remain compliant with all federal, state and local tax regulations and maintaining accurate financial records and reporting standards. The ideal candidate will have deep technical tax knowledge, a strong accounting background, and proven leadership experience. We are willing to work towards a hybrid work schedule if necessary for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Tax Compliance and Strategy Manage and review corporate, partnership, trust, exempt and individual tax filings (federal, state and local) Lead tax planning and strategy efforts to minimize tax liability and optimize savings for clients Monitor changes in tax laws and assess the impact on clients Accounting Oversight Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes for clients Ensure accurate financial statement preparation Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis functions Preparation of compilation and review of financial statements Leadership and Collaboration Lead and mentor a small team of accountants and tax professionals Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary based on experience ($100,000-$130,000) Annual bonus potential Retirement plan with company match Generous PTO and paid holidays Professional development support We use the following software - CCH Axcess, CCH Engagement, CCH Planning, Quickbooks Desktop and Online, Sage Qualifications CPA certification required Minimum 8 years of experience in tax and accounting Strong knowledge of US GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr NACBA
