Director of Nursing Operations

ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeshore in Cleveland, WI is hiring a Director of Nursing Operations to manage the nursing department, deliver high‑quality patient care, lead staffing and budgeting, and implement policies in line with current standards. The Director will also serve as the delegated Infection Prevention Practitioner authority and embed the organization’s values into daily practice. Oversee staffing, retention, and professional development of nursing staff, providing education, mentorship, and issue resolution. Prepare and monitor annual capital and operating budgets for the nursing department. Collaborate with senior leadership, physicians, and community institutions, and participate actively in performance‑improvement initiatives, data collection, analysis, and process improvements. Maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, assess risks, and implement appropriate safety and infection‑prevention measures. Availability to work during inclement weather and other staffing emergencies as required. Requirements Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse. CRRN Certification within three years of hire. Minimum three years of experience in a hospital nursing management position. Master’s degree or ongoing pursuit of one preferred. Active CPR Certification. Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and insurability.
