The role involves working from concepts created by industry partners and maturing them into manufacturable solutions that are delivered on time. The successful candidate will manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing clear direction, coaching, and mentoring under the guidance of chief engineers and the program management team.Key Responsibilities* Lead the development of hardware in the loop test system designs.* Manage a team of engineers and technicians responsible for engineering electrical interconnects.* Provide clear direction, coaching, and mentoring to the team.* Create and sustain a positive, collaborative environment.* Ensure designs are properly reviewed and meet performance and schedule requirements.* Direct the staff and activities of production test personnel.* Develop and maintain departmental standards and procedures.* Review and approve testing and evaluation methods for standard and special devices.* Prioritize schedules based on product introduction, manufacturing, and engineering needs.* Assist in evaluation decisions for purchasing test equipment.Required Qualifications* Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience.**PLEASE NOTE**: Candidates must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance as a condition and continuation of employment.Work EnvironmentWork will be performed in both an office environment and a lab environment.
