Part-Time Licensed Nurse (LPN/RN)

We are seeking caring and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Personal Care team. Whether you're an experienced nurse or a recent graduate, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents while working alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team.

POSITION SUMMARY:

To ensure that the physical and psychosocial needs of the residents are met in a timely and dignified manner.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Report at start of shift with worksheet to receive shift report.
• Assume leadership by coordinating the care of residents with appropriate personnel.
• Count narcotics with off-going nurse.
• Administer scheduled medications in accordance with facility, state and federal regulations. Perform scheduled treatments, wound assessments and documentation as per facility policy.
• Document pertinent information on residents including but not limited to: 7 day assessments for MDS documentation, alert charting, monthly summaries, incidents/accidents and vital signs.
• Participate in admission assessments, transfers, deaths, physician orders and prepare for physician rounds.
• Regular attendance is an essential function.
• Communicate resident or staff issues to appropriate personnel.
• Attend meetings and in-services as required.
• The 11p 7a nurse is responsible for the Twenty-Four (24) hour chart checks.

Required:

• Current RN or LPN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Commitment to providing exceptional resident-centered care

Pay: Starting at $34.00/hour (LPN) | Starting at $44.00/hour (RN)
