Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend | Holiday Rotation | Onsite | 26-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a primarily Medical Surgical population on a telemetry-capable unit with 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios
• Administer blood products, manage peripheral lines, and perform IV starts
• Administer Heparin, Insulin, and PCA medications; provide nasal cannula oxygen therapy
• Implement and maintain isolation precautions as required
• Utilize Rapid Response teams in accordance with facility protocols
• Serve as Charge RN and float to other facility campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (two attempts allowed)
• Must be available for a 26-week contract commitment; 13-week assignments are not available
• Candidates must reside beyond a 50-mile radius of the facility; current driver's license required to verify address

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with Rapid Response protocols and charge nurse responsibilities
• Experience floating across multiple units or campuses
