Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a primarily Medical Surgical population, including observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, palliative, end-of-life, and hospice patients
• Care for psychiatric observation patients, diabetic patients (including new diagnoses and complications), surgical patients, and surgical observation cases
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
• Float to other facility campuses within the health system as needed
• Adhere to a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Complete required onboarding modules and compliance requirements by established deadlines

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• No open background check cases permitted; third-party education verification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience as a Charge RN
• Experience with telemetry or EKG interpretation
