Title: Technical Project Manager (TPM)
Locations: Onsite: Atlanta, GA / Minneapolis, MN
Duration: 6+ Months with Possible Extension.
Pay Range: $40 -$48/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)

Role Overview:
  • As a Technical Project Manager / Sr. Technical Project Manager, the candidate will support technology projects and be responsible for the successful execution of complex strategic projects using Agile frameworks.
  • These engagements involve communication with senior leadership across multiple divisions and broad scope and are accountable for ensuring the highest quality delivery with emphasis on meeting product/platform deadlines and goals
Required Skills & Experience

  • Create project plans
  • Report project status to management and executives
  • Coordinate software releases

Job Functions
1. Team Leadership
  • Building and leading cross-functional project teams
  • Setting expectations
  • Ensuring that the team has the necessary resources and support
2. Product Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and team
  • Ensure the product backlog is well-maintained and prioritized
3. Agile Process Facilitation
  • Ensure Agile frameworks are understood and applied correctly by the team
4. Metrics & Feedback
  • Capture and use Agile metrics and feedback
  • Help the team continuously improve
5. Scope Management
  • Monitor project scope to prevent scope creep
  • Make necessary adjustments
6. Coaching & Mentorship
  • Coach and mentor teams
  • Coach Technical Project Managers and Product Owners
  • Provide training sessions and workshops on Agile frameworks (Scrum and Kanban)

Basic Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • Knowledge of project management disciplines, methodologies, and tools
Certifications
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks using Scrum and Kanban methodologies

Preferred Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
Experience
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • 3+ years of Agile Framework experience
  • 6+ years of Project Management and Agile work experience

Key Requirements Summary
  1. Project Management experience with knowledge of project management disciplines, methodologies, and tools.
  2. Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
  3. Agile Framework experience.
  4. Scrum and Kanban team methodologies.
  5. PM Certification.
  6. Strong decision-making ability.
  7. Ability to multitask effectively.
  8. Financial management skills.
  9. Ability to analyze project budgets, drive savings, and forecast revenue.
  10. Experience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheets, and Microsoft tools.
  11. Strong facilitation skills in a team environment.
  12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  13. Ability to handle pressure and deadlines.

Role Description
  • Building and leading cross-functional project teams, setting expectations, and ensuring that the team has the necessary resources and support.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and team to ensure the product backlog is well maintained and prioritized.
  • Agile process facilitation: ensure that the Agile framework is understood and applied correctly by the team.
  • Metrics and feedback: Capture and use Agile metrics and feedback to help the team continuously improve.
  • Monitor project scope to prevent scope creep and make necessary adjustments.
  • Coach and mentor teams, Technical Project Managers, and Product Owners in roles and responsibilities, providing training sessions and workshops on Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) when necessary.
  • 5 years of Project Management experience with knowledge of project management disciplines, methodologies, and tools.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with knowledge of Agile frameworks using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
