Job Description As a Security Officer Foot Patrol in Auburn, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned campus areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.11 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 12:00 AMFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns. Monitor access points and observe activity at assigned locations, reporting unauthorized access, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to the appropriate contacts. Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
