Responsibilities
- Design and develop bioconjugation strategies for targeted nanoparticles with various targeting ligand formats
- Optimize conjugation chemistries and linker strategies to achieve controlled, well-defined conjugates
- Engineer targeting ligands through format selection and sequence modifications for improved conjugation
- Develop analytical workflows to characterize bioconjugates and evaluate targeted nanoparticle performance
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to collaborative, growth-oriented team culture
Requirements
- PhD in Organic Chemistry, Bioengineering, Protein Engineering, or related discipline with 2+ years industry experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in bioconjugation, linker chemistry, and analytical characterization methods
- Demonstrated experience conjugating diverse biomolecular formats including proteins, antibodies, fragments, and peptides
- Proficiency with analytical techniques such as LC-MS, HPLC, SEC, and chromatography systems
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary, cross-functional research teams
- Strong scientific communication skills for presenting complex data to varied audiences
Compensation: $142,220 - $172,340 base
