Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Operating Room during the night shift.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility protocols.
• Participate in preceptorship and demonstrate leadership capabilities during critical situations.
• Manage responsibilities as a charge nurse when required and effectively delegate tasks.
• Utilize clinical equipment effectively in maintaining a sterile environment.
• Respond to on-call requirements promptly with a response time of 30 minutes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in New York State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles and ability to provide quality patient care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to operate in high-pressure scenarios.
