Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in North Carolina (or eligibility)
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
• Solid understanding of IEP documentation, progress monitoring, and goal setting
• Comfortable conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy in both individual and group settings
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff and families

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students with a variety of needs as set forth in their IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to maximize student success and participation in the academic environment
• Conduct assessments and re-evaluations, and keep thorough, accurate documentation
• Create engaging, individualized therapy plans tailored to student goals
• Support classroom modifications, accommodations, and equipment recommendations
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and progress with the larger educational team
