Fitch Group is currently seeking a Product Owner, Data Products & Onboarding based out of our New York office.

Reporting to: Data Products & Onboarding Leader

Partnering closely with: Other Marketplace teams, Technology teams, Data Governance, and business teams across the enterprise

Fitch’s Chief Data Office (CDO) leads the firm’s enterprise data strategy. Central to it is Fitch’s Data Marketplace - the platform through which employees find, understand and use governed data across business workflows, analytics and AI. Data Products & Onboarding is one of three Marketplace product domains and serves as its supply-side function. The team delivers designated Marketplace-managed data products and enables business teams to bring their own data to the Marketplace and publish it as governed data products.

The Product Owner, Data Products & Onboarding will own an assigned portfolio of data products within the domain and lead product delivery through cross-functional pods, partnering with business stakeholders, data producers and consumers, and technology teams from definition through production and lifecycle management.

You May be a Good Fit if:

• 8+ years across data products, data platforms, data engineering or related disciplines, including significant product ownership or management responsibility.
• Experience owning complex enterprise data products from definition through production and lifecycle management.
• Strong technical understanding of modern data architectures and delivery patterns, including data pipelines, ingestion and transformation, cloud data lakes, and virtualized/federated access.
• Experience with technologies such as AWS/S3, Starburst/Trino, Spark, Snowflake or Databricks, or comparable platforms.
• Strong product management capabilities across roadmap, backlog, prioritization and requirements, translating business needs into scalable data-product solutions.
• Strong stakeholder leadership across business, engineering, architecture and governance teams.

• Prior data engineering, data architecture or technical data-product experience.

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between USD 130,000 and USD 160,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
