Customer Service Agent, Expeditor

Support the Customer Service department with tasks as needed Ensure on-time deliveries and inform buyers of potential gaps in vendor performance Support database accuracy projects Support customer quote and order management to meet or exceed client expectations Serve as the primary communication contact and point of contact for client requests and status updates Interface between clients and operations and manage day-to-day client relationships Escalate client and internal concerns that may impact the supply chain to the Program Manager Coordinate and track requests for quotation and report weekly service-level KPIs Process purchase order acknowledgements and updates, verify customer quotations, and create sales orders Manage sales order status, due dates, discrepancies, backorders, shipments, inventory, and shipping schedules Expedite orders and reconcile client reporting requirements Resolve mismatches, invoice payment issues, exceptions, defects, and aged receivables collection Run ERP reports, export data to Excel, analyze results, and support KPI reporting Work with Finance and Purchasing to resolve discrepancies and invoice/payment issues Generate reports, collaborate with managers and functional areas, and guide new hires and interns during training Perform other duties as required Requirements Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and industry work experience 3 years of experience in a direct or cross functional capacity with client facing responsibilities Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, including pivot tables and lookup formulas ERP System Experience English reading, writing, and verbal skills Intermediate mathematical skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Accuracy and attention to detail Strong internal and external customer service and interpersonal skills Self-motivated, energetic, and able to perform with minimal supervision Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and projects Ability to operate standard office equipment efficiently Customer service, purchasing, or planning experience in a manufacturing company preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates strong client relationship management and effective communication skills while ensuring accuracy in order management and database projects.
